The role requires 6-10 Years experience as a Systems Engineer; a current MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certification; Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows 2003, Active Directory, Exchange, WSS 3.0 and MOSS and SQL Server. A Cisco certification (CCNA or higher) is a plus. The ideal candidate must have experience working in environments with 1000+ nodes on a single network. PROGRAM AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT - PMP	Virtual IT is currently seeking a Program and Project Management Consultant, PMP. In this role, you will be responsible for: 1. Managing our client’s overall project portfolio, as well as individual projects 2. Developing the program strategy 3. Supporting business case, and various enterprise-wide high-level project plans 4. Ensuring integration of projects and adjusting project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the business 5. Communicating with Client IT leadership, Client/Virtual IT business leadership, and Client/Virtual IT Consultants to convey program strategy, direction, and changes. As a Program and Project Management Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering all projects contained in the project portfolio on time, within budget and meeting the strategic and business requirements. It will be important to track key project milestones and recommend adjustments to Project Managers. In this role you will partner with Client and Virtual IT senior leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise. Candidates must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools. In addition, you will be responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of complex and cross-functional project oriented work efforts. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is required. The Program and Project Management Consultant must establish and implement project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations. This position is also responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers. Again, this role partners with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise. Candidates must understand human resources policies and practices and change management techniques. Education required is a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field. PMP certification is also required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role and 5 years managing projects. The person will assist with the upgrade process and also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion. The PC Technician will provide end user training and assistance where required. Candidates must be US Citizens with active DoD TSI or DoE Q security clearance. You must demonstrate 3 years experience in upgrading Microsoft Desktop Operating software. Candidates must be US Citizens with active DoD TSI or DoE Q security clearance. The project involves customizing a commercial-off-the-shelf product utilizing Java and Microsoft SQL Server. The role will involve converting legacy FORTRAN code to Java and developing embedded SQL routines and implementing workflow. A formalized SDLC will be applied and complete software documentation and test plans are expected. Minimum education requirements: You will possess a BS Degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline with software development emphasis.
